Auto One has recently overhauled their brand identity, this required all out-dated branding to be phased out and replaced with new livery. Auto One approached Owen Signs to manufacture and install their new signage in locations throughout Australia.

Signage plays an important part in the core branding for Auto One. Through use of colour, typeface and graphics Auto One has achieved a recognisable and dynamic brand that represents the company’s values and personality. The external signage is made up of a number of different elements, such as the iconic red, blue and white brand strip running the length of the entire store, Auto One’s logo, external building colour, menu boards and window graphics. Auto One’s window graphics feature lifestyle graphics that represent the brand’s slogan “Right Gear, Right Advice”. Internal signage, such as high watermark graphics, gondola and point of sale signage, makes the store instantly recognisable as Auto One. Working together with the store’s stationery and staff uniforms the signage makes the Auto One brand present and recognisable.

No two stores are alike. Different buildings require different layouts, have different ceiling heights and have unique external appearance. Therefore it is important to consider these factors when creating a signage solution. Each component of the Auto One signage is flexible and can be altered to fit the configuration of the building whilst still strictly following the brand guidelines.
